Buttery soft leather and some felt

Some things seem to be waiting for the perfect missing ingredient. like the bag I was planning after I received the most delicious soft leather.

For two days the design rattled around in my head, I drew several templates but none was just right...

Then this morning a box filld to the brim with goodies arrived, my felting friends swap organised by Clasheen whom I met on flickr.

Dawn sent me the most delicious fibers and also some soap, coffebeans and chocolate, not forgetting a fabulous book on the felting of hats. One of the fibers was some handdyed merino which had just the right colors to complete my bag and out popped the right shape too..

Love the bag! It has such a cool shape! And the leather looks so soft and pretty!
Lucky you all those goodies!

Lucky you, looks like a wonderful swap! Your bag is amazing! The soft looking snakes emerging from the bag give it such an air of mystery!

I love the whimsical design of this bag--aside that it's a brilliant shape and practicle, too!
